An academy in development

Dewan Al Maarif Academy is an academic initiative in development in Malaysia. It is building a scholarly framework for Islamic and Qur'anic studies, and it is still in its formative stage, so this page describes its direction rather than an established institution.

DMA's intended mission is to cultivate rigorous scholarship grounded in classical Islamic sciences, while engaging contemporary research methods. The academy aims to serve learners who seek disciplined, honest inquiry into the Qur'an and its sciences.

The curriculum and editorial direction are planned to honor classical tradition alongside modern methodologies. Details of specific offerings are being developed and will be shared as they are confirmed.

DMA plans to publish its academic articles and resources in Arabic, English, and Malay, so that Malaysian readers, Arabic-speaking students in Malaysia, and international scholars can engage with the material in the language they know best.

The site is being prepared with right-to-left layout support for Arabic text, so that Arabic content reads naturally. Language availability will expand as publications are completed.
